Doce Predileto é uma nova marca de doces que promete abalar o mercado e para a qual eu fiz a identidade visual: logo, tags, estampa e papelaria. De whoopies a petit gateaus com direito a tiramissus, brownies e outras guloseimas deliciosas, os donos prometem resgatar na alma de cada um dos clientes aquele gostoso sabor dos almoços e lanches de família onde os doces saidos da cozinha eram feitos com muito carinho e amor... nhamy nhamy!!! Abaixo o petit-gateau de chocolate que eles criaram para a Páscoa.

Doce Predileto literally means Favourite Candy. This is a new desserts factory to which I have done the visual identity including logo, patterns, tags and stationery. The owners promess to bring back through their products the good memory from the time we spent togheter with our family in which the candies and desserts coming from the kitchen had a special flavour of love. Below their little creation for the Easter time. Nhamy nhamy!!!

Ai vai um dos meus desenhos feito com pastel seco. Já faz alguns anos que foi feito. Uma das idéias por trás de criar este blog é também resgatar esta minha face com a qual aos poucos venho me reencontrando.

Tarsila do Amaral foi uma das mais importantes artistas plásticas brasileiras tendo sido junto com Anita Malfatti umas das principais figuras do movimento modernista brasileiro. Seu trabalho é marcado por uma explosão de cores e vida que muito bem representam a cultura brasileira. Seu quadro Abaporu originou o Movimento Antropofágico que tinha como ideal valorizar as raízes brasileiras nas artes plásticas.

Abaporu está hoje exposto em Buenos Aires e foi a pintura brasileira mais valorizada no mercado internacional. O nome é proveniente da língua Tupi e significa aba (homem), pora (gente) e ú (comer), significando "homem que come gente".

Tarsila do Amaral was one of the most important Brazilian artists and one of the leading figures of the Brazilian modernist movement. His work is marked by an explosion of color and life that very well represent the Brazilian culture. Her painting Abaporu originated the Antropofágico movement which had as its ideal  appreciate the brazilian heritage in the arts. Abaporu is now exhibited in Buenos Aires (Argentina). It is the Brazilian painting most valued in the international market. The name comes from the Tupi language, the Brazilian Indians language and means aba (man), pora (people) and ú (eat), meaning "man who eats people. "

Marc Martin a graphic designer and illustrator based in Australia whose work is just amazing! He works with watercolour, pen, ink,... and computer. His drawings have such a rich atmosphere and very beautiful colours. 

Marc Martin é um designer e ilustrador que vive na Australia, cujo trabalho é lindo! Ele pinta usando aquarela, inks e tintas convencionais além do uso de softwares. Os trabalhos dele tem uma rica atmosfera e cores belíssimas.

portfolio :: IOPERJ - Instituto de Ortopedia Pediátrica do Rio de Janeiro

Este logo foi criado por mim já faz algum tempo. Estava organizando algum material que pretendo postar aqui e encontrei a pasta no meio dos meus folders. Foi um dos projetos que mais gostei de fazer dada a natureza do Instituto que atende crianças com sérios problemas ortopédicos, em alguns casos com limitações físicas irreversíveis. O briefing dado a mim foi de que o logo fosse muito alegre, porque embora estas crianças tenham todas estas limitações, continuam sendo crianças e têm alegria, sonhos e expectativas quanto qualquer criança plenamente saudável. Foram feitos também toda papelaria básica, uniformes e placas de sinalização do Instituto.

IOPERJ is a Pediatric Orthopedics Institute in Rio de Janeiro. This logo was created by me some ago. I was organizing some stuff that I intend to post here and found its folder in the middle of my folders. It was one of the jobs I did that I like the most due to the nature of the Institute that helps children with serious orthopedic problems, in some cases even irreversible disabilities. The briefing they gave me was that the logo should be very happy and cheerfull, because although these children have these limitations, they are children still and as any other children they have joy, dreams and expectations in life. It was also made all the basic stationery, uniforms and signaling for the Institute.

Christian Faur é um artista americano que tem formação em Física e desenvolve um trabalho no mínimo intrigante. Estes dois trabalhos são da série feita com lápis de crayon que é a que eu gosto mais.

Christian faur is an american physicist who became an artist. His work is at least intriguing. These two works are made with crayon from the crayon series which is the one I like the most.

Este é um dos últimos projetos que realizei. A Casa Itanhangá é um misto de centro cultural, boutique, espaço de cursos e galeria localizada no Itanhangá, Rio de Janeiro. O lugar é cercado de verde, árvores e tem uma proposta totalmente voltada para os projetos que sejam ecologicamente corretos.

This is one of the last projects I have made. The Casa Itanhangá (Itanhangá House) is a cultural centre in where there are some courses, exhibitions, a art shop and cultural events. The place is surrounded by green trees, birds and is totally focused on projects that are environmentally friendly.
